For GLBDOM Classic’s third release we present you Katermurr. This young talent from Switzerland provides the "Warm Night" EP, which brings us back to the roots of House music.
The EP starts with “It Ain’t What You Got", a rough jackin house track with organ stabs, complemented by a sample of a Moodymann interview in which he spits some facts about making music.
The track "Warm Night", which gives name to the EP, is a combination of deep chords and a driving rhythm section. It creates the image of a hazy summer night in the city, swirling neon lights and people drinking in bars.
"Deeper Gruv" - melding deep chords with a jackin bass line reminiscing the atmosphere of classic New York House.
This release also includes a loungy, jazzy and elegant remix by DJ MERCI.
