Blur Records strikes back to present the debut of German DJ and Producer - Okofunk - and his brand new two-track EP entitled "Recovered".
Born as Okan with Turkish roots in Germany, Okofunk grew up under the influence of pop, breakdance & hip-hop music and by the early 90s was maturing into the sound that we recognize him for today - a blend of House, Soulful and Detroit/Chicago Techno.
The opening track "I Recovered", is a raw groove with a pumping ride and constant evolving synth stabs, with Okofunk dropping a seductive roller reverberating track, from its naked kick and snare beat to its oscillating bass, composition rawness at its finest.
The closing track "Jump In" is a seductive minimalistic banger of a track, replete with hypnotic bleeps and a reverberating pad. Featuring a perfect stomping beat, with a growling disengaged bassline and infectious melody, closing out this resonant two-track EP.
