Dr. Donte McFadden sits down with Ricardo Vega, Eng '18, to discuss how the McNair Scholars Program shaped both of their lives. Named for the African American astronaut and physicist who died in the 1986 Challenger explosion, the program has helped underserved students conduct research, learn from faculty mentors and go on to earn advanced and doctoral degrees.
