Mary’s hopes, dreams, and security were all tied to this alabaster box that she broke open and anointed Jesus with.
In anointing Jesus with this valuable, fragrant perfume, Mary gave her all.
When Jesus’ body was broken and His blood poured out at Calvary, He gave us His all. That was His alabaster box.

I saw a prayer the other day that pretty well sums up our alabaster box:
“Lord, I give You all my heart. I give you all that I am. I give You FULL CUSTODY, NOT JUST WEEKEND VISITS.”
