Luke 5:4-11

This is the Advent Season. It’s a time when we remember that the Lord kept His promise and came the first time, and we now wait for His coming the Second time. But living in this “in-between time,” He wants to be continually coming into your life.
Every day we should be giving as much of ourselves as we know to as much of God as we understand.
This means that when the Lord shows us an area of our lives we haven’t surrendered to Him, we do it.
It may be a bitterness. It may be a prejudice. It may be a habit that is sinful. It may just be nagging worry. It may be a tremendous hurt from the past that you just haven’t let go of and it haunts you and it controls you. He’ll let you know what it is.
Let me tell you, in that area, the Lord is doing the same thing for you that He did for Peter, the Young Ruler and millions of others through the ages:
He is inviting you to trust Him. And if you will, you will see miracles in your life. Your life will become one of excited anticipation of what the Lord is going to do next.
