Habakkuk is a man who believes in and knows God, but he is having a really difficult time understanding what’s going on in his country, and why God is allowing it to continue.
As we listen to the situation that Habakkuk describes, he could very well be describing the United States in 2017.
Habakkuk had a burden for his country and the way things were going. He grieved over the situation and cried out to God about it. You very well may have a similar burden for your country.
Habakkuk has questions.
Why is God allowing this? Why doesn’t He do something about it?
God responds, “I AM.” “I AM doing something.”
