Luke 4:16-21
The Greek word that is translated as broken in this passage is the word suntribo, which means to break, to shatter in pieces, or to bruise. The word translated heart is kardia, which is where we get our word cardiac. So Jesus is saying, "I came to heal those who have had their hearts broken, shattered, and bruised".
He still does that today.
