Genesis 12:1-3
God’s call to Abraham was to leave where he was and go where he would lead him. He had a wonderful plan for Abraham’s life. Wonderful promises were given to Abraham if he would do this.
The same plan and promise God made to Abraham are also for you.
We find this promise to us from Jesus Himself in the Gospel of Luke, the 18th Chapter, beginning with the 24th verse. The Rich Young Ruler has just heard this call from the Lord to leave everything and follow Him, and he is sorrowfully walking away.

And Jesus looked at him and said, "How hard it is for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God! "For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." They who heard it said, "Then who can be saved?" But He said, "The things that are impossible with people are possible with God." Peter said, "Behold, we have left our own homes and followed You." And He said to them, "Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who will not receive many times as much at this time and in the age to come, eternal life."
(Luke 18:24-30)
That’s the promise,
But we never can prove, the delights of His love, until all on the altar we lay. For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows are for them who will trust and obey.
