Have you ever noticed just HOW remote, HOW nondescript, How lowly every aspect of Jesus’ birth was? Consider His city of birth, Bethlehem, His home town, Nazareth, His place of birth, His name, His appearance, His first visitors, His parents, and His family tree. All are lowly. I just really noticed it this past week, and I think God would be pleased to tell us something through these things, and that is this:
“No matter where you come from, or where you are, no place is too little or too lost for God. No matter how lowly or ignoble your surroundings, status or stature, you’re good enough for Him.”
