Matthew 10:34-39
This is where the litmus test comes to many Americans today. Maybe it has already come for you.
There will come times in your life when you know what the Lord wants you to do, and it is in conflict with what your loved one wants you to do. When faced with this, which way do you go? Do you follow your loved one, or do you follow the Lord?
"He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. "And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. "He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it. (Matthew 10:37-39)
