The highest price that's ever been paid for anything or anyone was paid for you. It's the blood of Jesus. The full ransom. Paid for you.
You see, the Cross isn’t just a down-payment for the forgiveness of your sins, and now you’re supposed to be making payments for the rest of your life.
The Cross didn’t just transfer you from being a slave of sin to being a slave of God.
Jesus’ death on the Cross was a “full and sufficient sacrifice for the sins of the whole world.” Your debt has been paid off, and you are no longer a slave. You have been restored to the position of a child of God. You have been fully and totally redeemed.
