Hebrews 12:14
To answer the question asked in an old Puritan prayer: “If I don’t walk holily before God, how can I be assured of my salvation?” The answer is, you CAN’T! That’s why God commands us here: “Pursue … holiness! — without which no one will see the Lord.”
