Description

John 12:23-36
After Jesus’ Triumphal entry into Jerusalem as he speaks to the crowd He tells them that the hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. He tells them that He is going to the Cross, and will die.
Instead of trying to understand they argue with Him. When The Father Himself speaks from Heaven the crowd argues about where the sound came from.
Much like today, people can hear what Jesus says plainly, and instead of trying to understand they want to argue with Him and tell Him what He is supposed to do.
Instead of receiving God’s Word, they fail to even acknowledge the source.
This is one of the most important moments in all of time, and the crowd doesn’t even notice.
It grieves me when I see people today doing the same thing.
Back then, Jesus just went on and did what He had come to do. He went to the cross and died.

In this message we will examine three things:
1. The gravity of this moment.
2. Who is The Son of Man, and what’s His mission.
3. The price The Son of Man had to pay to complete His mission.
