“THE LAW OF USE”
"For to everyone who has, more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away. (Matthew 25:29)
The “wicked, lazy” servant never took, never owned, what was entrusted to him. He took something of great value and hid it in a hole, and went about doing as he pleased. I checked this recently, and a talent at this time would be worth $1,400,116.57.
He ignored the greatest assignment in his life, and it cost him dearly.
**The Law of Use is: “Use it or lose it.”
In the Old Testament we see this same principle
I once walked by the field and the vineyard of a lazy fool. Thorns and weeds were everywhere, and the stone wall had fallen down. When I saw this, it taught me a lesson: Sleep a little. Doze a little. Fold your hands and twiddle your thumbs. Suddenly poverty hits you and everything is gone! (Proverbs 24:30-34)
**Just like the servants in the parable, we’ve all been entrusted with different things by our Master, God.
Spirituality, Mind Physical Bodies (Exercise/No activity), Relationships, Farms, Ranches, & vineyards
It applies to all of life, no matter what your age, stage or station.
**We’ve been instructed to manage these things.
Are we in the Kingdom and using them the way He told us to, or are we ignoring Him and going about our own business?
Eyes, Mouth, Feet, Hands, Arms, Body,Talents, Abilities, Intellect Material Resources, Skills
Are we doing with them what He instructed us to do?
**Amount doesn’t matter.
**It’s not too late
