The Lord's declaration of ministry found in Luke 4:18-19 can be summarized by saying that He has been sent by God to free us from our past and other fetters so that we can really live in the present and look forward to the future.
Before we can ever begin to minister effectively to others in the name of the Lord, we must allow ourselves to be ministered to by Him.
