As far as the younger brother had separated himself from his father, his father never stopped loving him, and took him back into the family joyfully. In the same way, even though we may feel that we have separated ourselves so far from God that we think that our Heavenly Father will never have anything to do with us, He is ever ready to receive us joyfully if we will but come to our senses and come home.
