This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed at Cana in Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him. (John 2:11 NIV)
Jesus performed His first miracle at a wedding feast.
That’s significant. One of the things we can conclude right off is that Jesus likes weddings, and He likes Marriage, and He likes families.
This account in Jesus’ life is one of the richest in the Bible, encompassing and reinforcing God’s activity from Genesis through Revelation.
