Luke 2:1-20
In this Christmas message we pause and contemplate on what characteristics make up the most beautiful, meaningful of gifts.
We can see that the first is love, the second is sacrifice, and the third is that somehow the gift shares a part of you with the one who is loved.
That is exactly what we see in God’s coming into this world that first Christmas night.
Love, for you. Sacrifice, for you. And the Gift He gives, is Himself.
The gift of salvation was not something He could just send. He had to deliver it personally.
You see, the incarnation had a very important purpose: He had to come so He could die.
He had to die so you could have eternal life.
Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift!
