The Temptation of Jesus – Part 2
Luke 4:3. And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God,
command this stone to become bread.”
As we look at the Temptation of Jesus, 2 questions come up:
1. COULD JESUS HAVE SINNED?
2. WHY WAS TURNING STONES INTO BREAD WRONG?
The answer to the first is yes, or He couldn’t have been our Savior.
The answer to the second is found in Jesus’ answer to the devil.
Any thing sought without reference to God. Without considering God is a step away from God and His presence in your life.
The Biggest source of sinfulness throughout the history of the world is this:
Deciding what we are going to do with no reference to God whatsoever.
