2 Corinthians 5:21
“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21).
In these days of tremendous theological confusion, it is vitally important that the church of Jesus Christ be firmly settled on the Gospel message.
Our only message is contained in these 23 words found in 2 Corinthians 5:21.
God has not commissioned us with a message about political power or military might. Nor are we called to right all the wrongs in the world, or to pass judgment on every passing trend. We’re not given the task of transforming the world. The church has been given one major task, and that is to share the Gospel with every person on earth (Mark 16:15).
If that is our task, we need to make sure we know what the Gospel is, and that’s what is shared in this message.
