In the 8th Chapter of Romans, the Apostle Paul lists 7 things we are likely to face in our lives: Trouble, Hardship, Persecution, Hunger, Poverty and Violence.
Regrettably, many Christians are overwhelmed facing these challenges because they do not know who they are in Christ.
I say” regrettably” because if you know who you are, you’ll know what to do, and the good news is that in Christ, you are more than a conqueror.
While apart from Christ these things are incredibly rough to face, in Christ, they are transformed into opportunities to see the glory of God. Instead of facing them alone, we have the very Creator of the Cosmos working with us, through us and for us.
Having lived this life of faith Paul can confidently say, “If God is for us, who can stand against us?”
