You’ve probably have been told that God loves you. As John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” It is good and right that this attribute be made much of, for God’s love is the heart of the gospel, and the heart of the entire Bible.
But the question I want to answer today is, “Why does God loves us?” Why does He have this love that gives salvation and blessing and eternal life. Why does He love us?
