Now... I don't know where 2 start when it comez 2 Lil' Louis. I heard him 1nce @ thee legendary Medusa's Night Club in Chicago back in tha late 80'z. I also know I had a tape of him live at that joint but can't seem 2 find it. Trust me, if I find it I will post it up here!!
Anyhow, Louis took Chicago House Music 2 anotha level. As an artist, dj, producer, & remixer. You can't compare him 2 any1 else... Louis simply had hiz own thang. Though I do know a lot of artist/dj'z out of Chicago that grew out of Lil' Louis tree trunk. Louis tha tree & artist/dj'z like DJ Pierre, Felix Da Housecat, etc... as tha branches.
Louis remind'z me a lot of my favorite super hero, Bat-Man. Why, becuz you never know what he'z cookin' yet you can feel he iz up 2 something good (In House Music).
So let me just step aside & let tha tape/music do tha talkin'
