The climate is changing faster now than at any point in modern history. The decisions we make today will affect the planet for generations to come. At the same time, rural Kentucky counties are seeing declining revenues from coal severance taxes. With this in mind, we asked this year’s gubernatorial candidates how they plan address climate change and at the same time, address economic development in some of the commonwealth’s poorest regions.
