A new report has found that many of the nation’s public colleges and universities lag when it comes to admitting Black and Latino students. At the University of Kentucky, there’s still a gap between high school seniors of color and incoming freshmen, but it’s smaller than in many other states.
As WFPL’s Roxanne Scott reports, students in Lexington say they believe UK is doing pretty well in terms of diversity, but there’s still work to be done.
