Every night dozens of Louisville residents meet at a former vacant lot in the Phoenix Hill neighborhood to play soccer on Liberty Field. The field is a part of the ReSurfaced program that revives some of the city’s unused spaces.
WFPL’s Roxanne Scott spoke to organizers of the program as well as players at the field where Louisvillians of all backgrounds come to unite over the game.
