A power plant in Western Kentucky is taking remedial measures to try to control pollution seeping from its coal ash landfill.
The chemical soup running through an unlined ditch at the plant operated by Big Rivers Electric has high levels of arsenic and other chemicals. And as WFPL’s Erica Peterson reports, state regulators are trying to figure out just how contaminated the site is.
