Tucked away in a corner of the West Wing at Kentucky State Fair, surrounded by stalls full of cows, is a show ring full of bright green mulch — the home of Miller’s Border Collies. In spite of its out-of-the-way location, the bleachers are always full at showtime. Here, farmer Alan Miller explains his show, and how he gets the dogs (and ducks) to accomplish their feats.
