Description

Employees at Louisville and Jefferson County public agencies lodged 33 complaints of sexual harassment from 2012 to 2017, according to documents obtained by WFPL. And we should tell you now, this story will be disturbing to some listeners.

These complaints ranged from inappropriate verbal comments and text messages to unwanted touching and, in the case of one young woman, rape. And as WFPL’s Amina Elahi reports, the city and county agencies varied drastically in how often they substantiated the claims, and in the types of discipline they doled out in response.
