The shooting death of 20-year-old college student Savannah Walker at a concert in a Portland art gallery last weekend has left much of Louisville in shock. The brash act of violence also left a neighborhood already in transition reeling.
As WFPL’s Ashlie Stevens reports, supporters of the Portland renaissance are wondering now if for every step forward, their neighborhood is taking more steps back.
