Description

Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer joined us in the studio Monday afternoon for an hour-long call-in special about the city budget, downtown violence (and the alleged racial profiling that followed in its wake), and other recent developments in Louisville.

We also talked about the local option sales tax, which he says is an important local investment, and about LG&E's new 2% fee on natural gas. The mayor also discussed the proposed Walmart at 18th & Broadway, saying his office supports an urban design.

He also commented on Beecher Terrace and said everyone should care about the people who will be displaced by its demolition.
