Louisville native Garth Greenwell is making waves in the literary world with the publication of his first novel, “What Belongs to You.” The New York Times called it “incandescent” and the New Yorker called it “brilliantly self-aware.” It’s the story of an American teacher in Bulgaria and his relationship with a young Bulgarian hustler. He spoke recently with WFPL’s Tara Anderson, and she asked him why he thinks this story has hit a nerve.
