There were no spectators in the stands for this year’s Kentucky Derby, but that didn’t stop a crowd from gathering at Churchill Downs. Louisville was home to protests and counter-protests all day yesterday (Saturday), culminating in crowds surrounding the race track right as Louisville’s biggest event of the year took off.
