Description

Global warming increases the frequency of extreme weather including heatwaves, storms, droughts and floods. Cities can expect more flash floods and pot holes, hotter temperatures and worse air pollution. But urban forests can help control many of these local and regional climate impacts, while at the same time absorbing carbon dioxide, the very thing that has got us into this crisis in the first place.
