Family, friends and colleagues are mourning the sudden death of Longtime ESPN sportscaster John Saunders.
The 61 year old Saunders passed away this week at his home in New York.
Saunders served in many roles after joining ESPN in 1986.
For 15 years he was the host of the popular “Sports Reporters” program. The Sunday morning roundtable features sportswriters from across the country.
Rick Bozich was an occasional guest on the program when he was a columnist with the Courier-Journal. Now with WDRB-TV, Bozich published an appreciation of Saunders this week.
