In recent weeks, we’ve seen an ongoing spat between Republican Governor Matt Bevin and Democratic Attorney General Andy Beshear on a number of topics: education funding, campaign contributions, political appointments, and corruption charges.

It’s not unusual for a new administration to criticize the previous one, but the twist here is that the current attorney general is the son of the previous governor. WFPL’s Tara Anderson, who usually covers arts and culture, is digging deeper into the nature of these disputes, using Shakespeare as her guide.
