Development is on its way to one of the last remaining rural parts of Jefferson County. The city recently approved an extension to one subdivision and heard plans for nearly 1,000 homes near Fisherville. But conservationists and local residents say new communities threaten the health of Floyds Fork, the stream at the center of a nearly 4,000 acre park in Southeast Louisville.
