Kentucky native J. Todd Scott is a former Drug Enforcement Administration agent turned novelist. He has spent the last 20 years investigating international maritime smuggling, domestic meth labs, and Mexican cartels.
Scott -- who now resides in the American Southwest -- returns to Louisville for an appearance in support of his debut novel, “The Far Empty.” WFPL's Bill Burton spoke with him about his work.
