This morning (Thursday), the Trump administration made a big decision: For the first time in US history, states will be allowed to require Medicaid recepients to work or voluteer – in addition to some other activites - in order to qualify for coverage.
Under Governor Matt Bevin, Kentucky has been among a wave of states seeking to begin testing a so-called ‘community engagement’ requirement in the low-income federal health program.
