Rapidly rising melodic techno star Nichols is back on Lowbit with a fresh new EP in 'Dark Half'. With his last release on Lowbit storming the charts and getting heavy support from Nick Warren, the new EP showcases Nichol's darker side.
The two-track EP starts off with 'Vindicate' which is built around a big and bold Moog lead filling the soundscape with distorted rhythmic injections and powerful drums. 'Subtract Fear', on the other hand, is a more intricate affair, with its slowly building arrangement, layers of melodies and stripped back drums.
