Poetik Selektions (she/they) is a queer femme selector DJ specializing in dancefloor activation and evoking emotions. Originated in New York and now based in Philadelphia, she prioritizes Black diasporic music, genre bending sounds, and occasional trolling and surprises to ensure the crowd stays engaged. You'll tend to hear ranges of Club, House, World, and Soul in their sets, featuring a blend of classic sounds and contemporary hits. You can find them playing all over the city at events centering queer and trans people of color, community building or their monthly regular residency at Dahlak Paradise curating all types of dance parties.
