In premarital counseling, one of the points I always make is that the couple needs to build into their calendar daily times when they will connect with other in meaningful conversation and just “do life” together. Furthermore, I share that these times need to take priority in their lives. We were made to do life with God. But sometimes we forget to make this a priority. Today, God would give us the gift of renewal, empowering us to refocus and recommit in our relationship with Him. This is what we were made for!
