Description

Julie and Chris are back for a big show this week! We start by talking about Julies big week putting on the Brooks PR invitational track meet in Seattle. Brooks PRI is a High School national track meet with some of the best runners in the country.
We transition to talk about another one of our favorite brands, Saucony, and their VP of US Sales Joe Toth. Joe joins us on the program while he is out in Spokane Washington for the Fleet Feet conference. We talk to Joe about little known (little known because he doesn’t talk about it much) heart complications he’s had throughout his life. When Joe was born he had open heart surgery. Doctors didn’t give him much of a chance to live a normal life, but he has beaten the odds and has a family of his own, has become a distance runner, and has worked his way to a leadership position with one of the top running brands in the world, Saucony. Joe has had a few other heart complications since birth, and he describes some of them, while keeping an amazing attitude throughout. We also talk to Joe about Saucony being at Fashion Week in Paris to launch one of their new shoes. We close the show talking about Farley’s hernia (hopefully for the last time!) and the “Mindset Experience” Podcast that Julie was a guest on.
