I took the photograph on 23-1- 2020, 6 months exactly before the date of Disquiet Junto Project 0447: Listen Ahead.
In Arcueil, in France where I live.
In 6 months this image will have changed little: the trees will have grown, the stars will be almost in the same places.

On the island of Reunion, 9383 km from where I live.
In six months the sound of the night will be a little changed.
I made it a palindrome.
I am thinking of Georges Perec's poem: Eternity
The beginning, translated by Jacob Bromberg:
Manifest from the imperceptible
convexity of the eye
— that by which we know the earth is round —
eternity is circular
but flat
the cushion is (mountain) erosion

Dans 6 mois cette image aura un peu changée: les arbres auront grandis, les étoiles seront presque aux mêmes places.
