Description

The rock and the Rockstar in the flesh this week as Pete and Rob actually meet up in person to record for the first time since the pandemic started!

We start off taking turns in the hot seat, Rob talked about 1 detail he thinks most people miss when it comes to the bible and Pete talks about if denominations in the Christian faith amount to a net positive or negative.

We then of course go on to talk about the conflict going on between Russia and Ukraine and our thoughts on what the Christian response can and should be to what’s going on.

Peter mentioned prayer and donating what we can and one reputable charity that are doing something are the Red Cross so check them out if you can give .

Suffice it to say Pray for both Ukraine and Russia in these times

To lighten the mood Rob then shifted the conversation to season 2 of Love is blind and how to deal with a toxic, self sabotaging partner.

For our hookups, Peter suggested checking out a website and app called all sides ([https://www.allsides.com/](https://www.allsides.com/)) which looks to present unbiased news by collating sources from all sides of the political realm . Peter also stole Mo’s hookup and suggested checking out a book by former Navy Seal, Ultra athlete and world record holder for most pullups in a day, David Goggins called Can’t Hurt Me, be warned it does contain a lot of profanities but is a great book about perseverance and being the best version of yourself: [https://g.co/kgs/jKp3mC](https://g.co/kgs/jKp3mC)

Rob suggested checking out Agatha Christie’s Poirot following his recent watching of Death on the Nile. Check out the famous TV series here [https://g.co/kgs/9nVwyY](https://g.co/kgs/9nVwyY)
