Welcome all to another episode of the furnace!
Pete kicks things off in the hotseat for sorry not sorry. He discusses the popular idiom, an apology should be as loud as the offence and talks about how he would address someone who's asking for advice on how to glean principles from the Bible that they can fit in with their new age collection of wisdom from all religions that can help them live a better life.
We then go on to talk about the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, we contemplate it's significance, and the repercussions of her death and especially consider the unfortunate contrast of her passing and the reaction to it to the shooting of unarmed young black man in South London all in the same week.
For our hookups, Peter suggested trying out a new podcast app called Snipd which helps make highlights and take notes of podcasts your listening to, check it out here https://www.snipd.com/, Mo suggested checking out a book called Anxiously Attached, have a read here https://g.co/kgs/BLx3Xp, and Rob suggested checking out a card game called cockroach poker get your game on here https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/11971/cockroach-poker
