Tyler and Kayla are live from a blanket fort, guest-free, to talk about the baffling Martin Scorsese film Shutter Island. It’s loosey, it’s goosey, and it’s a little bit drunk. Tyler waxes rhapsodic about Late Phases and is wholly unimpressed with everything in The Loft that isn’t a pretty man. Kayla spoils The Intern and just barely forces the Chris Evans Corner into the pod. Also, Jason Schwartzman’s giant dick!
As for the main event, we fail to contain our disdain and quickly go full swearwolf on Shutter Island. Clunky foreshadowing, continuity errors, and a lack of Michelle Williams – there’s a lot to be baffled by. Also, Tyler apologizes for the occasional heavy breathing. Love ya.
