On the series premiere of MY WILSON FOOTBALL STORY, host Joe Mays sits down with former Bulldogs star QB Chad Henne - currently with the NFLs Kansas City Chiefs - to discuss his four years with the Wilson football team. They talk about Chad's early years in Hamburg and subsequent move to Wilson (in 3rd grade, people!) and his participation with the Van Reed & Wilson Central Junior High programs; the transition to QB; and break down each of his scholastic varsity games - all 43 of them! Chief among them are the four hyped-up head-to-heads with James Bryant and the Reading Red Knights, including the epic Bulldogs comeback victory in October 2000! Near the end Chad reflects on his days as a Bulldog, the Wilson legacy, and what the program means to him.
Special thanks to Chad, his wife and kids, his parents, Justin Raffauf, and previous iterations of the Wilson Football Parents Organization for help with the production, design, and editing of the program!
