I'm no expert in deconstruction, I can only share my experience of coming to Christ and that's what I do today. In addition to offering my experience I share a free discussion guide I created along with a video/podcast episode by Preston and Jackie Hill Perry that I am using with my students to help students understand what it means when people we know leave the faith. This is just one youth pastors. thoughts so take them with a grain of salt.
