A lady who lives in Warrior, Alabama, had listened to my songs on fandalism.com and then contacted me to ask if I would look at some lyrics she had written and see if I could come up with a melody. A few weeks ago they arrived via email and James Gladson and I worked out a melody which just required a few small changes to the lyrics but we tried hard to keep to the original meaning. This is the finished product which I am pleased to say the lady, namely Vera Turner (see picture), likes and James has arranged, performs and produced. I of course am Mavis Ellen Jackson. I hope that you enjoy this truly international collaboration.
